NFSSE Time of Day Settings??!

by Joe Wiggi » Sat, 27 Jul 1996 04:00:00

I've been enjoying NFS SE for a few days now.  I'm seeing stuff
all over the net about how one can set the time for morning, night, etc.
I don't see anything about it in the manual or anywhere else.
I applied the tourney 'patch' and have Lost Vegas, mirror tracks, rally
tracks, the super car, etc. but no daylight settings.

Is it just a hoax or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Joe

You're missing something.

The setting for time of day is included with the Track Description menu.
Highlight the track box and press enter.  You will now see and hear the
track description.

Look towards the bottom for the time of day.

You cannot just change to ANY time of day.  Some tracks will only allow
Morning (little to no traffic) and Mid-day (more traffic).

It's too bad they don't use headlights at night.

The option is in the "track information screen" where the narator talks about
it and you see a top down map.  The manual doesn't say where the option is, but
it's there.
