rec.autos.simulators

I have  ms sidewinder wheel (1 month old). I was running windows xp with a
duron 900. Everything was great! Now I upgraded my system and I have a
athlon xp and new motherboard ram etc... The controller seems to be working
fine in the control panel. It will not work in gpl. In the configurration
window the slider stays to the right all the time on the wheel. It goes back
and forth on the pedals but then plants itself on the right when I let go of
the pedals. What could this be? I never had problems before. All I did was
upgrade to a newer motherboard, cpu an video card (geforce 3)

Did you clean reinstall Windows, or did you just slap in the new
motherboard, and fire it up?

It might _seem_ like a good, time-saving idea.  It ain't most of the time.
You'll spend more time fixing little wiggits like this than you would have
reinstalling Windows clean and proper so it could properly re-detect all the
new low-level hardware you just threw at it :)
