Here are the changes for version 2.0:
* Version 2.0 - Bug Fixes:
- BACKUP.EXE - Changed the way I search for *.STG files. If
you used pre-formatted diskettes the way I
searched for files missed one file (the first
one in alphabetical order) causing this file
to be skipped and not backed up. You can now
use any diskette and all files will be
properly found and backed up.
- CRWCHIEF.EXE - Fixed BLAP rounding problem.
Ex. If BLAP was set to 20.345s and then
Saved, it got rounded to 20.344s. This no
longer gets rounded and is saved exactly as
you see it.
- Overall Changes:
- Now supports ANY track that is compatible with ICR2. This
includes all converted tracks, HQ tracks, 3rd party tracks,
etc.
- New Feature - Added a File Manager. This will allow you to
easily delete files with RPY, STG, STN, TEL and LAP
extensions.
- Specific Changes:
- CRWCHIEF.EXE:
- Moved Drivers2.txt editing code into a file called
EDITDRV2.EXE. I had to make room for other features.
- Records can now be edited. You can change any record.
- Records can now be summarized on one page. This will
contain the Overall Record for each track. It includes
the ability to save the summary to a file.
- Records are now reported in xMxx.xxxS format. Previously
the record was reported as 72.345s, but now is reported
as 1m12.345s. This is true for any track over 1 min.
- When editing Track Data the BLAP is now shown in a
xMxx.xxxS format for any time over 1 min.
- Seperated Calendar editing and Track Scheduling into
their own buttons from the main menu.
- Track Scheduler now can move more than 4 tracks. It can
now move up to and including all tracks.
- Track Scheduler now has "warning" messages when moving
tracks. These warnings are for "more than 25 tracks
scheduled" (which causes problems over the modem), "more
than 30 tracks scheduled" (which will cause ICR2 to crash
on start up) and "no tracks are scheduled" (which also
causes ICR2 to crash).
- POINTS.EXE:
- Added "To Next" column in the Points Standings chart.
This will report the points between drivers above and
below any position.
- Added a "Percent" column to most charts. This was added
to charts such as Laps Run, Laps Led and others that
would be nice to have a percentage added to it.
- When checking Driver data, the drivers are now sorted by
overall points position. This chart was previously
sorted by the standings based off of the first race of
the season. Also added a "Pos" to this chart so you can
see where this driver stands in the overall season
points.
- Added many more charts to sort drivers by: Points,
Poles, Wins, DNFs, Laps Run, Laps Led, Top 5s, Top 10s,
Avg Start, Avg Finish, Number of Starts and Bonus Points.
- EDITDRV2.EXE:
- Added a "Baseline" button. This will make the driver
ratings 500 and 501 for min and max of all catagories.
It can be used separately to change only one driver or
with "Edit All" to make all drivers change to baseline
settings.
- TELMETRY.EXE:
- New Feature: Added a "Text Compare" function. This will
single step through the lap files to compare drivers in a
text form, as opposed to a graph. It has peak detectors
(for min and max) as well as "brake" markers to show when
a driver is braking.
- Improved mouse functions in a graph to help "speed" it
up. These charts are still slow when moving the window
around, but I changed the mouse buttons to work a little
differently. If you use the left mouse button the chart
will move by 100 counts, but if you use the right button
the chart will move by 1000 counts. I was hoping to
improve the speed in the code, but this is the current
"work-around" for speed.
- Released November 8, 1997
