F1RS rain set-up problem

Hello all,

I am competing in a full season of grand prix circuits using the expert
setting, but I have run into an annoying set-up problem. I am currently at
the Interlagos circuit which has 85% Humidity and it is raining. I just
cannot get my car to run like the other computer AI cars. They can do the
main left hand corner before the start finish line in 4th or 5th gear and I
have no option to slow down to 1st or 2nd gear. I have tried Guy Cotes rain
set-up but it is no better than where I got with my rain set-up for this
circuit. I have also noticed that the other cars don't go "Squish squelch"
in the corners like my car always does, has that got something to do with
the way my car is set-up ?

Is there anyway to steal the computer controlled cars set-ups ?, or for that
matter my team mates set-up ?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

There's no way you can be faster than the Ccars on some turns. It's simply a
bug.Even if you set the maximum wing angles and drive using all anti-slipping
aids, there's no way to beat them on some turns. The Ccars run on rails ,they
don't obbey any physics laws.
It seems that the UBISOFT testers(if there were any) simply didn't race on rainy
conditions. The difference in speed is so obvious that's the only reason i can
think about.

Hihi no comments  <g>.    (UbiSoft beta testing are based in Montreal,

I still don't understand racing companies that engage non-experienced
drivers to test their own racing titles.  I mean it's normal for arcade ones
like POD.  Any normal gamer can help them.

But serious racing simulator ? They are just making the title worse.  Every
other company (Papyrus, Bethesda, MIcrosoft) had real life racecar drivers
as testers.

I mean it's time people to realise that F1RS and even more the upcoming flop
called Monaco GP (they just tell you to do all the job instead of them, it
doesn't cost them very much in time and employees) are full of BIG flaws.

They should completly redo their game engine instead of continuing with the
POD one. I mean it's over 2years and a half old.

A major part of the buying public is gamer, not a RL racecar driver...
BTW, RL racecar drivers didn't work that well for Microsoft and
Bethesda (X-Car), did it?
