I did a 1:23 in the Honda (mur) yesterday, it is such a thrill to drive that
track fast, it's got great rhythm! It took me 40 laps to get my 23.5 lap,
and I have to tell you about one of my accidents...

Coming out of the hairpin, i shifted up, just got to 4th, then i unwittingly
drifted onto the bank on the right... i hit the 200m sign, that knocked off
the right-front, i flew into the fence on the left, slid upside down along
the fence... dropped off the fence, came over the track, hopped over the
bank on the other side and literally came face to face with a hare/rabbit
next to the bridge, i laughed my ass off!

I must say it seems to be primed for online racing as well. I was in a
small race of 3 cars the other day, and we battled each other in a
tight group for over 6 laps! Snetterton is roomy enough in most spots
that you can stay close together without running off or rear-ending (in
particular - the hairpin). Also, the corners vary widely and it seems
to accentuate each driver's skills uniquely - I am faster here, he is
faster there.

And to think they are already working on a sequel - Goodwood.
