Everyone at IWCCCARS, please do us a HUGE favor.  Shut down the
project and take the web site off the internet FOR GOOD.  It is
obvious that the people who have taken over the project are incapable
of producing the quality cars and timely updates that we have came to
enjoy under the previous administration.  After several weeks, there
are still areas of the web site that are "broken" and updates have
been painfully slow.  In addition, the site has been down and
inaccesible on several occasions, for long periods of time.  IWCCCARS
no longer lives up to its reputation, but I admit that we were all
spoiled by Tony Johns.  If you can't simply shut down the project,
please change its name, to clarify that it is NOT the same IWCCCARS
and that we can no longer expect the same timeliness and quality that
was previously established.

Unfortunately sites that need a lot of space and have a lot of traffic
cost quite a bit to keep up.  If you'd care to donate some server space
we'd be more than happy to move the page to a faster site.  Until then,
we'll have to make due with the space The Pits has allocated to us.
The areas of the site that are broken (the forms) are due to a missing
CGI script, which we are waiting to be installed.  As for the quality
of cars, the artists and contributors are the same as before.  If
anything, I feel that the N2 cars are much better than any our previous
efforts.  If you don't like the site it's no big deal, don't use it.
I'm sure you'll still see our cars posted on other sites anyway (many
with no credit given).

Why don't you do "us" a favor and step in front a fast moving bus!
IWCCCARS is free and only there for our benefit! For Christs
sake.....just don't go there if you are unhappy. You are a complete and
total moron.

Good grief Charlie Brown.  Why don't you just remove the link from your
browser?  Wham , the site is gone.

I would express my opinion of a dumbass who complains about free stuff, but
D & Terry seem to have beaten me to it.

Not exactly a tactful response, huh?   But then again, sometimes the direct
response is best.  In this case, timely and correct.   Even if they post
only one car a month, it's better than nothing.   Which in my case is what
I'd get in new cars if weren't for those like IWCCCARS and Alex's Nascar
Pit Shop.  I'm as artistic as a stump and really appreciate what all these
guys are doing for the rest of us.   There's an old saw about looking a
gift horse in the
mouth. . .

Dear Bufford T. Justice( you've been watching to much Smokey and the
Bandit)
If you don't even have the guts to post your e-mail address then you
shouldn't even be posting.  You obviously don't understand what it takes
to build a web site and keep it up to date.  I think Dave and the gang
at IWCC are doing the best job possible.  People don't have a lot of
spare time.  That's what makes this site, spare time.  A site move is
probably the next hardest thing to do besides building a site.  You have
to edit HTML to make things work on a new server and some thing that
worked on the old server won't work on a new one.  Tony put a lot of his
time and life into IWCC and he was an amazing man for that but Dave may
not have the spare time Tony did.  Updates won't come as often.  Get
used to it and give things time to settle down.  IWCCCARS is not a
failure, it is one of the best and most needed site on the web for the
sim racer.  I wish I could be affiliated with such a great site.  Great
job guys, keep up the good work.

Cowen Wilson,  happy to know IWCCCARS is out there

First off, if you can even sign your real name, you have no creditability.

Second, if you don't like what they have to offer, don't visit their site.

Third, does your mommy know your are using her computer?

Why are their so many "BABIES" in this group?
Seems not many can take criticism. You are on the usenet, Get use to it.
I Like the work "THE" iwcccars does, as well as the THOUSANDS of other
people
painting their pretend race cars.
Judging by the responses this post has got, and all the other whining in
the past
lead me to think you ALL should realize that...
IT IS JUST A GAME!  PRETEND RACING, Make believe.
It ain't real kids. So please calm down.
-This card is better than that card......
-Win95 is better than Mac...
Waaaaaaaaa.... on and on...... GET A LIFE!!!!
This Guy is Venting. So be it.
It is called freedom of speech. Don't like it, You know what to do.
BTW- I know 15 year olds who can beat most records in N2 with no setup or
Paintjob. And they just played the game for 1/2 an hour.
Same kids that can finish Quake in a few days without cheating.
I do not want to insult anyone here. but you got to put things in
prespective.
Why do I use a fake name and e-mail?
Do not like getting Bombed by babies. You know who you are.

This really doesn't belong in this group, but along with that freedom
of speech comes the responsibility to exercise intelligent self
control.  Unfortunately for all of us, not too many people do.

People like you make me laugh. Your type continue to scream "freedom of
speech" then lambaste those for speaking their minds.
Sure the guy has the right to say he doesn't like something. Just a I
have the right to say what I think. He posted his thoughts in a
world-wide forum. Don't you think he expected a few replies. Pull your
head out of the sand.

I agree with you at 120% The only problem is that the babies stay here
in r.a.s instead of rec.baby.cry.cry.cry  IWCCCARS are here to make
people HAPPY!HAPPY!HAPPY!HAPPY!  It's not everybody who can spend most
of their time after work painting cars.  I think this team does a
fabulous work.  All the others who do N2 cars are great guys.  All the
people who devote their time doing web pages and utilities should be on
the SIMRACING ALL-OFF-FAME.  My mother always said to look in the box
before saying what's in it.  So people that don't do painting can't
critisize on what IWCCCARS does.  I wanted to do a web site on N1cars
but who it was to tough for me.  HAPPY!HAPPY!HAPPY!  IWCCARS will always
be a great site, even if they post less cars.  Just think of the time
they past painting.  You will realize that the charity they offer to us
is great.  Good race at the Brickyard,

P.S.: I can be mature sometimes :-)
