October 1994 (when i first heard rumours about it) - now i just can't
give a f*ck!! I'll just continue to play F1GP happy with my bouncy cars
and chunky graphics - it's kept me happy for 4+ years, i'll just have
to keep on pluggin away thrashin' the opposition..........

F1 GP2 Burnout!!!

Just a note to say that I have head great success in running NASCAR
in high resolution mode after upgrading my 486-66 to a Cyrix 586-120.

I was one of those who could not afford to buy both a Pentium
Motherboard, CPU and 72 pin Simms.

So I bought a Cyrix compatible motherboard with the 586-120 CPU
($210 here in Dallas) and reused by old 30 pin Simms (16meg)
and it works great..nearly all the options are running in Nascar and
the frame rate is great...(Performs at a P90 rate)

I had always figured that I would have to shell out the $$$ for a
new Pentium system to get this speed, nice to see that there is a '
cheaper route.

Before anyone asks, no I do not sell Cyrix CPUs nor do I know where
to buy one...just passing on an alternative....
