I downloaded the Transam carset for ICR2 from TSP page.  When I installed
the carset, I was able to access paintkit successfully.  When I loaded the
game, the game loaded, but when I go to driver info and select the Transam
carset, my computer locks up.  Anybody else expereince this same problem?
I have version 1.02 and run the game through dos.

Hi Gus,

Make sure you don't have any memory managers present (like EMM386).
REM the line in your config.sys if you have one loaded, and try again.

I had the same problem.  I started ICR2 the same way I always do.  Then
Reset your computer and choose to start up with safe mode command prompt.
My sound card initialized and it gave me enough memory to load the carset
into the game.  It is a lot of fun!  

By the Way.......I tried downloading the IRL carset from the Sim Project
last night.  After I was half way through with the file I was disconnected
and I have been unable to connect to the Sim Project sight since.  Any
information anybody?
