Kniefe's an adequate road racer, but as Paul Tray states, the job he's done
as CART Chief Steward is a joke. Perhaps it's not all his fault, hell CART
leadership has been a joke for years now, which is why they're now playing
2nd fiddle to the IRL.

In other words, $50,000 plus 2 race probation plus docked 3 points.

Pretty harsh, as Castro Neves knocked him out of the race in pit lane
and got nothing. Tracy always cops it whenever he causes an incident.
(admittedly quite frequently!) but nothing for HCN.

I thought PT was in the right on that pitlane deal, but then after the
penalty they showed the replay again and Paul made two small moves over
towards Helio, pinching him toward the pitwall. Not much but he had plenty
of room to the right....I think Kneiffel used a common law concept...the
last guy with a chance to avoid an accident is at fault...Yes HCN squirreled
out alongside Tracey and pushed into his driving line, but Paul had more
than enough room to avoid that and continue on. So I think Tracey was fined
for NOT avoiding the contact rather than being the sole cause.
However...I would have loved to have seen the next sequence in the pits
when Paul pulled up alongside the Penske pits and smoked his tires to show
his displeasure...TV missed that one...

From what I remember watching the video on RPM2nite Tracy was way over
in Casto Neves's lane. Ultimatley Tracy did Tracy in (again). Then
he threw salt in his own wound. OTOH, Tracy seems to be at his best
once he's on probation... With no Team Marlboro Penske to compete
against it'll be interesting in CART this year.

They did seem to be playing chicken with each other, PT lost out
pretty badly. Still surprised that HCN never got anything for not
dropping back as he should have.

That burnout in the Penske pits would've been good to see, PT doesn't
mind firing up a bit, does he???? I cracked up when I heard him
talking to the pits commentator, don't hold back now PT :) Expensive
30 secs tho.
