If you want to fight obesity through legislation, why not outlaw couches,
televisions, and computers?  How about hot dogs, candy, pizza, and super-sized
fast food meals?  Do you honestly believe that a gravitationally challenged
individual will gain weight by leaving the Lazy-Boy and taking the Segway to
McDonalds instead of their car?  Personally, I'd rather see them go on the
Segway.  Less pollution, traffic, and parking problems.

Maybe bicycles should be outlawed too then, or removed from the sidewalks.
We're all soooo familiar with what a nuisance those things are, aren't we?
Roller blades too.  And skateboards.  Heck, why stop there?  Should we make it
illegal for kids to ride big wheels on public property too?  What about cars?
Oh, they're fine I guess they're relatively efficient and pollution free
compared to Segways ;-)

Useless?  I bet your average 1st or 2nd grader could educate you on how a
Segway might be useful.

Hmm..  You've got me thinking now.  Anybody down for a Segway simulator ? :-P
Ash, what do you say?  Let's team up and make it ;-)

Sure, it's another one of those impersonated troll/gibberish posts in order
to discredit the supposed poster as an act of childish revenge. What I'm
wondering about is why the heck we are always privvy to the fall-out of
flames on other groups like this.

"Transpiration device"?!
Which definition are we looking at here under the word
"Transpire"...........?

1. A device for making things occur, happen or take place?
2. A device used for the giving-off of waste matter?
3. A device which allows odour and secretions to escape through the pores of
the skin?
4. A device which allows knowledge and information to escape from secrecy or
which aids in the leaking of confidential information?

Fascinating! And I always thought that the Skegway was a form of personal,
solo, transport.

Bruce.

I just checked Segway site. 38 Kg only - wow!
Turn that thing horizontally, add 2 more wheels,
few hundred bhp and we're looking at real business ;)
