I've been trying for three days to load GPL on my Palm Pilot. No luck
yet.  Maybe I should just use my palm to pilot something else...

I only resorted to loading GPL on the Pilot after it crashed at the
joystick calibration screen when it was installed on my Timex Sinclair.

That's funny. I have no trouble at all with GPL on my Palm Pilot. With all
graphic settings on, and a full AI field, I get 40 fps on the grid at
Monaco. I smoked everybody on VROC last night at Monaco. Did a 1:15.7 on my
first lap with cold tires! Just wait until I stop using this gamepad!

What's your problem, dude?

You need Windows CE  ;-)

Hi John,

I had to program my break-out game in assembler on my Timex Sinclair.
The basic mode was just too slow :-)  Z86 rules.

Those were the days.  Waiting for a game to load from tape for 10 minutes
then wishing to play a different one when it finally worked.

Aaah, I remember spending many hours in front of my Commodore 64 in the
'80s. Who needs GPL - I had Enduro Racer :-)

Racing Destruction Set was my favorite 'racing' game.

Still took a long time to load the tracks though.
Thank god for EIDE and SCSI.  Firewire is next :-)
