Does anyone know what happened to the web site, "Where to race"?  Also
is there a strong preference on which is better to race on, Kali or
Kahn?  I can realistically only afford one of them.  I would
appreciate any advice or input.

 Hi!

Here's a copy of an e-mail i recived from Jim Moore some days ago:

"...We are currently in the process of switching internet service
providers.
Our web site and server will likely experience temporary downtime. Our

server if "Where To Race" is not available when you sign on to Kali

Thank you for your patience and support of Where To Race.

Hopes this explains why several peoples have troubles with it.

Hail,

I've heard that Kahn is faster but have not yet tried it.  I would
advise using the dos version of whichever you decide, as it will most
likely run more smoothly.  I have only tried Kali95 (for Win95) as of
yet, and it has crashed on more than one occaison.

Well from a cost point of view, I've been trying to race on the internet
*** zone, it WILL work...i did it twice the other night against one
live opponent...but last night we couldn't get a single run to start
with everyone in it...I know some of the problem was attributed to
newbies...but even the guy i raced previously and I had trouble...could
we be missing something? (btw www.zone.com    its free and can handle
ipx connections to race and connect other games as well, lets see a few
folks there to check out its workability?? I go by Lurik there because
someone already took TrenT.)

I have tried Kahn, and was extremely disappointed.  Everything that could
go wrong did.  One thing would crash, then when I would get that fixed,
something else would. It was one headache after another.  I like Kali
better, but there is still allot of warping.

At what server are you going ????  I have Xvt (cool game) and I didn't
know that you could play other games on IGZ (except MTmadness and
MSgolf, etc.).  I think there's a place for other games (sports,
simulation, rpg, etc.).  Also, for people that think of SIMRACERS THAT
CAN BE IN WY WEB SITE and that weren't not nominated please tell them to
me.  Thanks a lot,

Good race at the Brickyard,
