Doesn't Modular mean that the engine is assembled by cylinders.  In all
actuallity you could make a v12 out of those if you have manifolds for it.
;)   BTW, 4.6's suck stock.  I couldn't even get a squeel on a turn!!!!!
;p

One problem here I've never seen a Mustang with a default engine of a Chevy
350,can we please have Ford cars with ford parts and chevy cars with chevy
parts please :).This car should have a 4.6 V8 mudular (spelt wrong I know
<BG) what i mean it has no distributer and is all aluminum. Can we please get
this fixed :)

I hate the 4.6's  to Bill, but i don't think they that bad though as you just
said lol.I'm a 5.0 man myself,then I love a 390 and 428 after that.All I
know is every Modular engine I have seen doesn't have a distributer.

Good point Robert. I should have taken a look at that before posting it for
Download. I would be happy to re-post the file if someone changed the specs
to more of a  "Ford" spec.
But then the whole idea, on my part at least, of the "new car" was not to
replicate the car, but to offer a graphical representation of a Late Model
Mustang so others can choose what motor, ***, suspension and so forth to
give it. I hope that everyone is still pleased with just having a new car
that wasn't packaged in the original release of Burnout.

I always though the 5.0 was to little.  I swapped a 351windsor into one
once, that was cool.

The main advantage to the Modular is " No Pushrods "  And you've got to admit
they're getting the same amount of Horses out of the 4.6 as they were with the
5.0.  Even though it's less Cubic inches.   Beside's The Modular's resemble the
427 SOHC so if Ford wanted they couuld really build a Kick ass Modern day
engine.  Just think a 427 SOHC with todays electronic technology would be the
Ultimate.
