mmm

Certainly works great with V2 card.

I have access to a V3 so I will try it later.

GPL V3 and W2K anyone?

Well, this system is nothing more than a dedicated server, so I'm not
concerned with watching the races or participating in them from this
machine.

This machine also has a Voodoo2 in it, but I haven't installed the
drivers I downloaded from the 3dfx site yet.

I did manage to get WinVROC working on it.  It turns out that you have to
create a driver before WinVROC will allow you to join or host a race.

Works with 3dfx drivers for Voodoo2, but not it appears with the current
drivers with a Voodoo3.

Apologies Ian for leading you down the wrong path - It was the beta voodoo2
drivers I was thinking of.

Tony,
That info is very useful. I've been trying for some time on this NG to see
if ANYONE has got GPL working with V3 on W2K without success.
You seem to have confirmed that it's the V3 drivers that are at fault.
Do you have any recommendation about who I should contact regarding this
problem as I can't fully go to W2K until GPL is working!

I found the whole system hung with a V3 card.

I guess we wait for an update from 3dfx.

Have you got a wheel working in W2k? I have the Guillemot Ferrari USB which
is unrecognised.

Also Superbike 2000 won't run in W2k - unless someone knows different....

Iain have you tried the Banshee Patch that's on the USPits site? I don't
know if it'll still work but that's what I used  (combined with the then
beta V3 drivers) on the RTM version of W2k. I haven't bothered to tried it
on the retail version of W2k and released V3 drivers combination and won't
bother until Logitech release new drivers for the LWFF. I am thinking about
upgrading my wife's computer to 2000 ( the kids shouldn't be playing games
anyway <G> ) and could try it on there but that won't be for a couple of
weeks in any case.

Tony,
GPL is my biggest headache! Most other titles work absolutely fine.
The MS FF Wheel works OK, but any Iforce wheels just won't work, yet.

Michael,
I've looked on theuspits.com site, but can't see any Banshee patch. Can you
give me an exact URL?
Ta!
Iain
