| There***when they are in their 20s. Somewhere between 30 and 40 is when
| they become udders. Thats about the time our buddy Todd will wake up one day

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the
citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a
double-edged sword. It both emboldens the ***, just as it narrows the
mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the
*** boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no
need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry,
infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their
rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I
have done. And I am Caesar." -- Julius Caesar

mean they all are...
I think Todd's point originally was simply to refute the blanket statement
that all women are trouble (i.e. just because one was bad does not mean that
they all are, to reword your statement). Perhaps some of us are "naiive" in
our views of women and relationships, but I think it is harmful to propogate
these stereotypical views. We put the message into the minds of our peers
that every woman is a ticking time bomb, that eventually the whole thing is
going to fall apart because of the changes *she* goes through, and then sit
back and wait for the self-fulfilling prophecy to come true. Funny thing
is, in my group of 30-40 year old peers, I know several women who have
objectively evaluated their failed relationships and have come to the
conclusion that they contributed to its failure. None of my male peers in a
similar situation have ever stated that they were at fault. Now, this is
either black and white proof that your theory is correct, that women are the
root of all evil and eventually will destroy your relationship, *or* (and
this is the theory I go with) women have a more mature and honest
understanding of how a relationship functions, whereas men throw all their
toys out of the sandbox when the game doesn't go their way.
Please understand this as a general comment, not directed specifically at
your circumstances.
