Can this replay be saved???

by pars.. » Thu, 28 Aug 1997 04:00:00

Hi there,

I ran a race on Hawaii recently and saved the replay.  I ran out of disk
space during the save, but I still managed to keep 23 Meg of .RPY file.
When I try to load the replay, several seconds of disk activity tell me
the machine is trying, but it boots me back to the menu screen soon
enough.

Something (like the lack of the end of the file) is preventing the file
from loading.  Is there any way I can 'patch up' the end of the file so
that I can fool the program into thinking the file is complete?

Or..something?

Anyone had this problem before?  Can this replay be saved?

Thanks,

Steve Bevacqua

Sounds like you need FIXRPY. You can get it from the Late Night website -
the URL is in my sig.

Thanks Dave,

Actually, I used splitrpy (yours, I think) to split the file into 9
recognizeable parts.  I then used mergerpy (from Bill Corrigan) to put
them back together.

Thanks.
