How do I call for a tow?

Been trying to figure this one out for a while:

How do you call a tow truck in Nascar Racing?  I hear people talk about
it quite a bit, but see no mention of it in the documentation.

The reason you don't read it in any documentation is because there is no tow
truck. Although there will be one in Nascar 2.

The Multi version of Nascar for Hawaii has a tow truck. Use Alt-I to get it.
It will automatically pick you up if you wreck and come to a complete stop
(and have engine damage?). The offline version of Nascar doesn't have a tow
truck but Nascar2 will.

Doug,
I think the tow only works in hawaii. I'ts "alt I". that will get you a tow
while running on
the hawaii network. I have never tried it on nascar alone.

I've been running multi at home, haven't connected to Hawaii....yet.  The tow
feature seems to work fine but I've never seen an actuall Tow Truck.  Is there
one when you're on Hawaii?

No, you just have to pretend, just like years ago when you played with
Matchbox cars.
