Can anyone lead me to some setups for the Trans Am beta? Or at the very
least give me some setting ideas? Thank you

You can a lot of fine setups right here:

A lot of people will know Achim from GPL.
Enjoy and happy racing.

Thanks Ole. I'd made a bit of a ballyhoo this time around and advertised my
own setups :-)

I've just uploaded 27 revised, and 1 new setup (for Bell Hill) yesterday.
I've changed the underlying philosophy a bit and AAMOF, I'm quite a bit
faster with these revised setups. So maybe you'd like have a look as well!

Well, after taking a look at the Glen Long setup, and applying it to
the new Bull Run, I am VERY grateful Achim!  I have been looking
for some setup pointers to make the car less loose upon exiting a
turn, and this does it-just pulled a best-ever 135_8 there, and was
easily able to punch it in places where I would spin if I did that
before (like the exit of the left sweeping hairpin on the
backstretch).

He lowered tire pressure a little to 20, compression and rebound
both 4's on the fronts, 4 & 2 respectively on the backs, caster is
250, and springs soft at 550 front/250 rear (at Bull Run of course
they need to be stiffened to prevent bottoming out).  Camber
1.80 front, rear >zero< (hmm...).  I think the comp, rebound, and
caster are the keys to a firm exit.  :-)

Real nice setups Achim. I loaded a bunch of tracks but I suppose many you
got converting from GPL? I do have an issue with shadows at Laguna Seca. The
dash goes black except for the tach and I get a black hood and long shadows
in other views. All the other tracks look fine. Is there another version of
Seca?

Thanks for the feedback!

Your version of Laguna is probably for N2002.

Many of these tracks are from a converter made by Dave Noonan, which you can
buy here:

Thanks for the feedback John! I'm really pleased to see reports like this,
as I'd of course like to know what people think about my setups, and of
course I can learn something from that as well. And unfortunately, despite a
fairly impressive number of visitors to my website, I'm not getting much
feedback, so I'm always glad to read such reports.

That Hockenheim track isn't that great yet, so I didn't expect it to get
much interest, and therefor didn't make a setup for it.

Did you convert it with the N2003 converter?

I got it already converted from M4 Driving. The opening screen does say
Noonan in the lower left.
