game kicks serious ass in all departments. The only game that gives me
anywhere near the same buzz as this is GP500. I have put a good number of
hours into the game now, and have spent time getting latest drivers for my
V3 which allowed me to remove my previous entries from the cards.txt file
and setting my wheel up to a satifactory state.
A word about the graphics, If you have seen the screenshots and videos etc..
and thought they were cool you`re going to be happy because it lives up to
those standards. People who take time to review the game, and to do that you
have to try different tracks, different setups, full races etc.. you know
what I am saying here, can only come to one conclusion, It kicks ass
bigtime.
Just so you know what games I am comparing against I will tell you what sims
i have,
:- GPL - very good sim, but not modern day which is what I want.
N3 - very good sim, but I am not really a big fan of nascar.
Gp500 -the best bike sim available, all the above 2 have in regard to A1,
physics etc...
F1 2000 - I was one of the first to stick up for this game but with time
my opinion changed after having it on and off my HDD for months, I won`t go
into details but the A1 and the fact it runs like shit just skim the
surface.
MGPRS2 - good game kept me going for a while and IMHO best up until GP3.
CPR - Not very clever but had a bit of fun online with it.
So if you have heard a lot of negative things about GP3 don`t worry, give it
a proper test drive like I said above and you will not be disappointed.
Roll on Friday so I can get my hands on the official copy.
Snake.
