I can assure you as the operator of 20+ websites, I understand not only
the evil concpet of spaming but recogonize just how bad it is for not
only the newsgroup, but the spammer with negativity.

I am a gamer, and involved in racing. I think there is a natural
crossover between race gammers and race fans. RfA is interested in the
opinions of ALL race fans, live or virtual.

I will respect whatever decision the moderators of this newsgroup tell
me for the content of my messages.

Only trying to make racing better.

Thanks for the note.

Jim

Marc

The link works, the voting is under the "racin" section. We were hoping
fans would look around a little bit.

The site is a bit rough, we are working out the bugs for the formal
kick off in 2004.

We are only a bunch of race fans working together to sponsor American
drivers. Since 1984 RfA drivers have won races in British F3, Formula
Opel, F3000, Formula Atlantic, Indy Lights, Formula Ford, and have gone
on to compete in CART, IRL, NASCAR, and other series. Recently RfA
driver Paul Dallenbach won the 2004 Pikes Peak Hillclimb. Check the top
patch on the left side. Not bad, for being not too sharp.

We have just landed a pretty good sponsor, and the new program will be
announced in October, with over $250,000 up for grabs to drivers, fans,
interns, and sim racers. The larger budget will help us fix some of the
bugs in the website, and other areas.

Racing for America, is non-profit, fan run, owned and operated. We are
dedicated to making racing more enjoyable. I hope if you find any other
problems with our site, program, or postings you will send me a copy so
that we can address the problem as quickly as possible.

I'll admit, sometimes we are not that sharp,
but we are always willing to try better.

Thanks for the input. Stop by again, I promise it will be better.
