As a newbie to this newsgroup, can someone share (briefly) the
differences between the various sims that are commonly abbreviated here
(e.g., F1GP, ICR, etc.).  In shopping around software houses I have
seen Indy Car Racing (presumable ICR), World Circuit (WC??) but nothing
that looks like F1GP.  Vendor?

F1GP is World Circuit(WC).  F1GP is the the batchfile used to run WC.

True enough..but this is also the name of the European version
of the game...Formula 1 Grand Prix.. :)

F1 Grand Prix is the name of the game in Europe. In US it's called
World Circuit. Why, I really don't know! Anyway, they are the same game.
