Not bad-for those not in the know, it is a figure-8 track which
crisscrosses,
at the same level, in the middle.  However cars going on the other part of the

track cannot hit you (but just ghost on through), a limitation of the game
engine
if I understand correctly.   I also noticed (with no wind set) that the AI
goes
much slower on the lefthand loop than they do on the righthand one, for some
strange reason...
If N2003 fixes the ghosting thing, I can't imagine the mayhem that would
ensue...

I take that back...apparently two completely different guys decided to
release figure 8's within a month of each other-my above comments deal
with Ascot, not Infinity, the latter which I will now DL and check out...

I was gonna say something John,  but you seem to have caught yourself.
:)   Just looking at the two supplied screen shots, the track has a bridge.
Just today I watched the Aussie V8's at ORAN PARK, this has a cross over
bridge.  At first the screen shot was a top-down look and I couldn't beleive
they would have a crossing track, even in Oz.  But then I figured out they
must be  bridge.           One look at ORAN park has me scared to death.  I
suspect it is only a matter of time before somebody gets pushed into the
Bridge abutments.   Secondly the PIT IN lane is so short you have to slow
down while on the racing line.  Todays race leader narrowly missed being
taken out by a pitting car.  That too is a safety area that should be
addressed.   Looks like a fun fast track but I can't help but think one of
Aussie's finest will end up dead there soon.

Infinity Speedway released for NR2002

I agree, i myself have had incidents on those two parts of the track
(although on bikes :) ) One was in qualifying when a slower rider was kind
enough to move over, except a left it too late and  basically rode into the
side of me, which resulted on me leaning on him to get away from the start
of the bridge wall and him crashing.. and another on the entrance when a
rider suddenly decided to pit when me and two other bikes were about to pass
him.... without a doubt the most dangerous track in australia except maybee
lakeside....
