Want to here a CPU cry? Try ICR2 with full textures maximum cars drawn and
heard and pull onto Gerhards Indy pit road. This takes my p-150 w/24megs trio
64+ /2megs down to 13-15fps. Same thing between corners 1 and 2 at Sears Point.
The highest I have gotten with the above settings is 26fps in several places
on several tracks( 1st straight on Pocono is a good place). If I turn off track
and grass The minimum is 15-17fps and the max is 30fps. Anyone with Pentium
Pros or P5-200 could you benchmark yours in some of these places? I am thinking
of upgrading CPU and maybe mother and want to get something that works well
with my games too. Happy Racing!

So you have a P150 and you are thinking of upgrading? Save your money
and don't bother-the *actual* difference between a P200 and a P150 is
not worth the cost. Perhaps you should spend your money on a better video
card-that might speed up things somewhat.

But then again, if you really don't mind spending xxx$ for a minor speed
increase then go ahead with your upgrade (I really don't know what kind
of performance increase you would get with a Pentium Pro, at least some
of the earlier (?) Pro mb's had very bad pci-performance)
