Is there a different way to setup the Logitech wheel for N3?  Thought I
read somewhere that Nascar drivers have the axis different for braking.

I don't know what you mean by different, but here is how I configured mine
in N3 for seperate pedal axis:

Go to the LWFF Profiler Settings window and uncheck the box for Combined
pedals, then start N3 and go to the Controller Options. Click on Calibrate
Joystick One and calibrate your wheel only and hit Enter. Click on Calibrate
Joystick Two and calibrate your pedals and hit Enter. Then assign your
controller functions.
