Does anyone know how the Winston Cup Points Bonus is distributed at the end of the season if
the Points Leader does not win Atlanta? I know it is done 'incrementally' among the top 10,
but what does incrementally mean IN THIS CASE?

Exactly how much money is added to the Busch Pole Bonus each race that the Polesitter does not
win?

The Busch Pole bonus (called the Unocal Bonus) goes up $7600 for each
race the pole winner hasn't won the race. (makes sense considering it is
named after Unocal 76 gasoline).

I'm nost sure what bonus you're talking about here.

You mean the Unocal challenge? $7600 is put in each race. Whoever wins it
gets everything that's accumulated since the last time it was won. Sometimes
it goes quite high. It was up in the range of $400,000+ when Kyle won it a
few years back.
