Well, I've been able to break the track record with the standard ACE setup (of
course with less fuel), so you don't need a special setup for that.

I don't really know or care what my setups are, because I have been playing
it on the demo version of ICR2, so the car's setup can't be adjusted.  But
I am using a joystick along with manual braking and manual shifting and I
have managed to get my time down to 1:10.485.  I think the secret is in
taking the turns as smoothly as possible without any wheel skid noises and
carrying as much speed out of the cork***turn as possible since it leads
up to a pretty fast section of the track before having to slow down for the
right turn.  Good luck, if you can get it down to a 1:12, I am sure you can
get down to at least a 1:10!  Although I don't think it might be possible to
beat Villeneuve's time with a joystick because it's just not that precise.
