I forgot to mention my system specs:

Pentium MMX 200MHz
32MB RAM
12MB Creative Labs Voodoo2
Windows 98

And remember, I've had no problems with GPL until now.

check that you still have the 2.53 drivers in the gpl directory
just a guess

1. GPL doesn't start from BOX area

2. Alternator doesn't start charging for 1-2 minutes after start?
