Hi folks,

installed GPL (new NicePrice Release) and update with Patch 1.20 for FFB
features.
I assume my Setup is quite ok (using automatic gear shift), but

when I start Training my car is on the box, but I can't get it started
anyway.
Trie every key on the keyboard but didn't help

I'm just missing the tricka thing - anybody knows how to get started?

I'm using my Guillemot FFB wheel and setup seems to be quite ok :-(

You need to calibrate your controller in gpl as well as in windows. You also
need to assign an axis/button for each control.

There is no 'engine start' key in gpl, if your revs are zero, it's because
you've blown the engine. Press shift-R to reset the car if that's the case.

When you get into the car, just put it in first gear, push the gas and the
car will start moving.

Thanks Malc

will try it tonight - I got a contact problem with pedals sometimes and that
cause full set of power.
So the engine my be blown up immediately

Does windows detect the wheel properly?
Go to controlpanel/game controllers/properties and test it.

And No, the engine will not blow immediately.

Actually, it may...

There I was, on the starting grid at Monza... revved up to the redline
ONCE... and saw rods flying all over the place in my mirrors, within 2
tenths of a second! Boy was I surprised! :)

might have to assign a key in the menu for "upshift" and use it once....

Thanx TXL,

I did and used lot of switches - including my FFB wheel Gear Shift, the boy
in the car also shifted gear, but ...
nothing worked. Car didn't run.

Trying some other keys tonight.

using Thrustmapper I see the wheel works pretty fine.
Also using it for my favourite CMR2 and it works quite excellent.

if the guy in the car "shifted" that means you have the clutch "all the
time" so check which key/axis is the clutch on your config, probably you
have the clutch and the throttle (gaspedal) on the same axis, put the clutch
on a key, say Z for example and give it a try....

Not as complicated as R3 though.....
