Playing with the sound files of GP2, I see that some of the files are
messages from the pits. However, after playing for the past several years, I
have never hear any of these messages. Does anyone know why?
Thanks,
Gostal

The criticism in this newsgroup is that after shipping,
development should have continued, and patches should have
followed. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to have happened.
People seem to be happy with Ubi's F1 Racing Simulator,
and GP2 looks like it will pass into history as a great sim
"for it's time". I hope my new system configuration can run
this sim.
Visisoft, or "Visiware" or "Visi" something is expected to
release a F1 sim someday. The program is called "Starting Grid".
I was expecting it about a year ago, I believe they ran into
problems with licensing. It would be sad if legal problems, or
Bernie E's greed, prevented this from being released. I have a
feeling they have already been hurt by being beat to market by
Ubi's product. I love F1 racing and will buy "Starting Grid",
but I'm sure many won't.
Anyone from Visi want to let us know what's happening?

Those are sounds that were never implemented into the game because it was
already wayyyyy behind schedule.
