GP2 Bad Drivers-AI at Spa-Francorchamps ??

Hi everybody,

I have done a lot of racing at Spa in GP2 and every single race a lot of
cars spin of into the sand at Pouchon. They try to overtake, fail while
trying and fail to recover. It happend to the big names (Schmi, Hill,
Alesi) and the not so great. Is this realistic or just some bad AI form
the program?

Did anyone notice the same?

Fred

I am not a GP2 owner. However, I have F1GP.  Are you sure have this
problem in ACE level?

Alan.

I was at Spa last year on the muddy banking at Pouhon and the only car
that went off at this corner was Coulthard's due to a mechanical failure.
Nobody tried an overtaking manoeuvre on this corner.  Maybe it's bad AI
(as you put it) but overall I'm happy with the behaviour of the AI cars,
especially when they move over to let you lap them.

I rather like the way the drivers make mistakes in GP2. They seem much
more realistic than the occasional spin off that would happen in ICR2. In
GP2, if the AI hit a curb you can see them lock brakes or use opposite
lock to correct it. I have raced at Spa, and I saw Damon go off into a
sand trap, but I think the number of retirements is quite realistic.
