ICR2 help me

I just reinstalled ICR2 on my new PC. Now when I start up the game I have to
recalibrate my wheel. Does anyone know how I can fix this? This happens
everytime I start up.

This is going way back in time for me, but I seem to remember
a version of ICR2 that had the read-only attribute of the
controls.cfg file turned on.  You need to turn off that
attribute of the file so that it can be overwritten.  Then
your new configuration will be saved.
