F1RC brightness problem

F1RC brightness problem

The game seems really good (I'm getting used to the AI), but it's TOO DARN
DARK!  Changing the video settings on my GeForce MX2 brightens the desktop
just fine, but does nothing for in game brightness / gamma.  Occasionally in
switching in between screens, it will brighten for a split second as the
screen changes, but that's it.  It makes playing in the rain almost
impossible.  The monitor is already maxxed.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

maybe you should try earlier nvidia drivers for gf mx?..
sometimes newest drivers tend to darken the game

Get NVmax and brighten the desktop (gamma).  I have to do that on both
F1RC and GP3.  Very annoying, but I have not found a workaround.  AND,
I'm using the beta drivers after trying every driver out there.

On my system, F1RC was intolerably dark with environment mapping enabled.
Once I disabled that, lighting was OK.  I lost a little of the looks, but
they weren't worth much if they were too dark to see, anyway.  :-)

Got it working now then Jerry?  Was it the exe that Dave or I sent you that
worked?

You don't need to use NVmax, being able to adjust the desktop
gamma/brightness/contrast is a standard feature of nvidia drivers.
