Papyrus please take note:

While racing in N2.....
Twice now during yellow flag pace laps I have been forced to stay behind a
real slow poke AI car which insisted to lag at least a half lap behind the
group at Dega. I tried passing the jerk once (much to the chagrin of the
spotter) and caught up to the rest of the pack in time for the green flag,
but was black flagged for it.  The second time it happened I gently
smacked the evidently stoned driver off the track and continued on for a
fair restart, no problems.

I've had the same thing happen at Dega.  I found that this allows you to
cheat, as you can slow way down, estimate when the green flag will drop,
and nail it in time to pass the slow car at 150mph just after the flag
drops.  Then you can usually catch the field and pass a bunch of them
too as they are still coming up to speed.  This is an AI bug.  I can't
figure out a fair way to handle this problem.
