For those of you who have it, what are the differences between Leadfoot and
all the other dirt-based Ratbag games? From the screenshots and comments
I've read, there doesn't seem to be too much. Please, enlighten me before I
buy another Ratbag game that gets consigned to a dusty shelf within a week..

Its the same, I dont like the fact that the wheels dont have any gyroscopic
effect on the vehicle when in the air. The tracks are too small for the
trucks, I guess thats why they are limited to V-6's in Stadium truck racing,
after all that is what this game is. I hope that someone figures out how to
remove the grandstands and make the tracks bigger if not even larger than
that. Nationals type tracks (MxM2) would be great in this game. I ran
against 8 online in the ultralites and had alot of fun, track size is much
larger in a smaller vehicle. The sense of speed is great..  There may very
well be a setting im missing for gyroscopic effects to occur. I dont think I
would have paid $25 for it to be there, but I'd definetly pay $45 for bigger
tracks, trucks, gyro effects etc...  Is LeadFoot open enough to make these
things possible, ie: less work that GPL?

This type of truck racing would be VERY cool with Motocross Madness type of
open tracks.. racing through the desert, playing tag, etc..

Would be a blast

It's the same as the Dirt Track games, but with jumps and left turns.
Okay, DTR did have figure eight tracks with left turn, but it was
still too circular.  The fact that you aren't just going in circles,
made this game long lasting to me.  I'm always finding was to get
around the track just a little bit quicker.

Third party tracks for DTRSC have bumps in them also, it's not a "new" thing
to the ratbag repertoire, just not exploited in the sprint and dtr tracks.

I have enjoyed the demo, but I don't think I'm the only one who'se thinking
ratbag have released DTR for the fourth time now.  What I'd rather see is
something twice the price with decent car model, track model and race format
creating/importing utils, but then what would ratbag release as games
themselves for the next two years if they did that :o/

just being able to race clockwise on the ovals would be a start.

I am thoroughly enjoying racing DTRSC with the www.ukdirt.co.uk tracks and
chassis, and dirt racing is one of my staple spectating sports IRL (just
so's ya know ;) )
