MAN!!! Talk about sounding EXCITING!!!  This is really gonna be great!
Now I'm in DEEP trouble tho:  just got N3, I **NEED** NL, DTR's coming soon,
N3 Trucks is due "in December," and now this!!

Luckily I just invested in an Aureal A3d 2.0 card and surround-sound
stereo.

Now, if I could just get my Guillemot software to working again....

Gunner

(just IMAGINE those jumps!)
<goosebumps>

Where did you hear about a N3 truck expansion pack? I'm sorry if it was
mentionned before, but I have been lived under a rock for the past
couple of days! Anyways, I was able to put my N99 short tracks in N3, so
the trucks expansion is no big deal.

You're not kidding. Could there *finally* be a successor to SODA with
real 3D support?

I can't wait for this one. Looks killer!

Once again, tires that aren't even round.

Gee, now I'm not gonna buy it.

Does that really matter? When they're moving that amounts to nothing.
Actually, sitting still it amounts to nothing.
If this game mixes DTR and SODA, its the game I've been waiting years
for.

True, but consider this:  The tires ARE round in NASCAR Revolution . . . <G>

Consider this: GPL has round tires. :)

Yes, in this day and age given the hardware available, yes.  I am looking
for immersive qualities and that means physics, race weekends, graphics and
sound.

Hey, if it works for you thats more than fantastic.

It does. Perhaps I'm a minimalist, but I can dispense with a lot of
fluff for solid play/simulation.
Graphics impress you for half an hour.
Good play hooks you for months, or even years in the case of sims like
GP2, SODA and Viper Racing.
