n1999 Vegas setup?

Could anybody help me with some setups for Nascar Racing 1999 Edition?  I can't
keep up with the opponents at 100% when I was able to run top-10 at 102% in N2.

My current Las Vegas setup is a variaton from my winning Loudon setup, but I
can't keep up with mid-pack even.  Currently, the tops is the 6 car at 32.2xx
sec while my best in practice is 32.723.  I just can't figure it out!

Thanks...

>Do not despair, as N99 has race the level of AI. Check out a blap and rels
>from an N2 text file (like Cal for ex - 39800 and 101 rels) vs. N99 (39750
>and 104). I say this just so you don't think your skills have suddenly
>gone south. Either a) lower the opps strength to about 98%, which, for

>at www.sim-racing.com  or c) pretend you're Darrell Waltrip and just
>went from the #1 car back to the #35. :))

Even though I should, I'm not going to retire!  Really, though, it is annoying
to see what should be slower cars, pass me because of their enormous grip on
the track.  You ever notice that they never slide and always take the preferred
line?  I guess I'll just have to get 'em next week and wait till N3 comes
out...

Thanks.

Okay- I'm glad too see that it's not just me - I used to have to run NR II
and 102% just to get some good racing - on N1999 I can win at Texas and
Talladega at 99% - I am getting my ass kicked everywhere else - running dead
last at C***te.

What's the deal with the Qualifying setup being gone?  I used to run that
everywhere in NR II - are there setup web pages, I hate runnin like Darrell
Waltrip.

I plug for those guys out at Silicon Motor Speedway, www.smsonline.com - if
you live a  town where that have the facilities check it out - your gonna
love this.

Hey, now!

Darrel has proven this last year that he still has what it takes to win,
IF he can get a team to put a proper car under him!

This man will be re-born when he starts running that car for Dale
Earnhardt!

Thanks for the info.  I thought it was just me!  Have you seen how fast the AI is at 100% at the Glenn?!  I was beginning to think I was crazy.
