Other then Indy, it is the only other WC track (I know other series run
there too) that I have seen. All I can say is: WOW!!!
Now, down to the questions:
Does a long race at Vegas treat the tires the same way Michigan does?
Meaning, At Michigan, you can do some real hot laps, but at the same time
roast your tires. The race usually comes down to who managed their tire
wear the best. Does the same hold true to Vegas!
What is a good consistant race speed? I can consistantly run 32.5-33.0
depending on traffic. In open air, using the whole track, and pushing it, I
can get into the 32.2-32.4. I believe, with my current setup, I could
possible get into the 32.1's, but haven't done it yet. When I learned a new
track in N2, I would use the Lap Record as a goal to set for me to reach.
Some track I could get over that, and others, I have a hard time reaching.
On the NR1999 Vegas track, the record is a 32.1, I believe. I am about a
tenth from the Track Record. Good, Bad or just down right Ugly? You won't
hurt my feelings any.
Oh, I am getting a good run off the corners (I think), but the AI's are just
blistering fast off the corners and down the straights. Is this just a
Vegas AI thing or am I not getting a good enough run. I can hang with them,
but usually what will happen, is I will gain on the into the corner, off the
gas and have to hold off the gas longer then normal, due to their slow
cornering speed. Then when I get back on the gas, they're pulling away from
me, or I am just sticking with them. Usually, they pull away, and I make my
passes going into the next corner. Fourth is setup to just barely redline
at the end of the straights. 55 rear spoiler. Any ideas?
I am not looking for any trade secrets (will take them if you want to give
them away), but just a bar to reach for. Haven't found any track guides or
setups for the tracks in NR1999.
