I remember when I first got gpl, and watched the AI dissappear into the
distance before the 1st lesmo...
Well now I don't have that problem, and after owning this sim since its
release can say I am getting the hang of it LOL.   I remember also
watching all those replays that came with GPL and thinking geezzz.. its
gonna take me forever.. well nearly 2 yrs isn't quite forever +)

Just went from  to -2.95 by taking my Ring time from 8:32 to 8:26 woop!!

mind u I can only break 8:35 in the ferrari...

Well done! I've got a little way to go yet, but I think I can do it
now. I reckon I can get another 5 seconds at the ring, and 1 second
each at Mexico, Monaco and Zandvoort. Which leaves 0.85 from the rest.
I dread having a h/cap of +0.01!

My handicap dropped from a +12 to a +7 in one day after some heaving Testing
sessions at Mexico, Mosport, Zandvoort, and an unsuccessful set of laps at the
Nburgring.  If I could EVER get a good lap at the 'Ring in, I'd be sure to get
a negative handicap.

Have you tried James Pickard's setups? Worked for me - as you can see -
that 6-second improvement in my h/cap is all at the Ring :-)
