Ive read many comments, that asked if anyone has blown one do to
protection of engine when auto shift is on, and rev limiter with manual
shifting. Well it happened to me. Probably due to poor shifting or
overuse, but driving a Sauber-Mercedes at Belgium I suddenly got the
message ENGINE PROBLEM on my dash. I could still hear it running but it
was as if it was idleing. When I looked at replay, yup Smokin'. All I
could do was pull off the track (4 laps into the race) and watch from
guardrail.

I find you stuff the engine if you thrash it to much..ie allways in
the rev limiter. If I button off a bit it lasts longer though I have
still had failures..
