Sorry to burst your bubble pal. For every person who sounds off like me there
are at least a dozen other who DON'T SPEAK UP. Since I posted a few days ago
several others have come forward with similiar claims. ALL have returned their
card for REFUNDS - NOT replacements and ALL have either gone back to or switch
to Orchid or Diamond cards.
Canopus has just released an inferior card. This should have been obvious when
they sell a 3Dfx card with an extra 2mb of RAM on it for $20 less than the
competition who only has 4mb on their cards. They had to cut costs somewhere.
I was initially blinded by the extra 2mb, and the TV-Out but when I realized
that there is nothing using 4mb textures and that I would never haul my computer
out into the living room and that Carmageddon no longer ran I came to my senses.
When the card finally blew - that was the final omen to dump this turkey fast
and go back to good ole Diamond.
My WARNING still stands.
