NFS3 I need help!

I realize that this NG is more for sims like GPL and N1999 but EA tech
support won't help so maybe someone here could. I have a Diamond Monster
Fusion Voodoo Banshee, and Voodoo Banshee apparently won't let NFS3 run
in 3dfx mode, only D3D.  I downloaded a patch that fixed this and
everything worked fine, until that is a car I downloaded from EA's
official site wouldn't extract, so I tried re-installing the game. Now
when I try to run NFS3 it gives me an error: "Need for Speed 3 files are
corrupted; please re-install."  I have re-installed about 5 times and I
still get the same thing.  Anyone on here who can help?

I got a similar problem.  My problem was in Direct 3d.  Go into your
directx folder (under program files) then into the setup folder.  2click
on "dxsetup.exe"  then click enable hardware acceleration.  This solved
it for me, maybe it will for you.  Hope I helped out a bit. -aj-

Have you tried un-installing it, and re-installing it?
