I am using that card.  Prior I had been using a old cheapie Trident
PCI card, and this card made an improvment.  But it only improved when
I ran the Sim in Windows.  IF I ran the Sim from DOS it actually
performed worse than the Trident  I don't believe you will gain
anything running from DOS.
