GPL screenshot question?

by Scott Ray / GPLOR » Sun, 22 Jul 2001 15:29:16

For some reason I can't take screenshots in GPL...pressing printscreen
and/or alt+ps creates an 0kb .pbf...simply nothing there...can anybody give
me some clues as to what the problem might be?
Here is my setup:
600mhz Celeron w/256 ram, TnT2 M64 w/32 ram
clean install of GPL w/no third party additions, excepting wheel textures
from the tyre barn.

hi, it's simple, you make them in OpenGL or D3D right ?? then do that
printscreen thingie, open Paint Shop Pro or programs alike then do PASTE
CLIPBOARD

Yep, you can't really do that with D3D.
You can press ALT-printscreen to COPY the picture to the clipboard, then
open your favourite graphics program like MSpaint and PASTE it into a
new screen.

Alternatively, and this is the best, get hypersnap http://www.hyperionics.com/
Allows you to set a hotkey, then when you press printscreen it does grab
the picture properly and you can take several at a time.
