Funny thing is a lot of the fast GPL drivers turn them off..
Seems to be the same fascination as flipping cars were in N3.

That doesn't bother me at all.  I never use them in GPL and I probably
wouldn't in GP3 even if it were an option.

Funny thing is a lot of the fast GPL drivers turn them on also ;)

Flipping is just an overall term by some ignorant mass who want to say they
want correct and accurate physics.  They just can't say it another way.
"Flipping is kewl" in their minds.  GP3 has no arms? No problem with that, I
consider this a development choice more than an omission.  It would had been
more obstructive than in GPL considering the number of information the
***pit has.

Hehe.  How do you both know so much?  :)

Mind you, going back to GP3.  Although there are no arms, there will be
a steering wheel rotating back and forth.  I would imagine that it could
be quite distracting for some.

enough and relealistic ???

Is it meaning all of them using behind view? =)

I prefere in***pit view and using it option. Of course, it can get rid
off,
but a bit troublesome switch it back when looking replays.

No, it's simple deduction you dimwit.  It's quite obvious that there is a
lot of fast drivers who race with the arms in GPL.  Because with your own
deduction it would also mean that the replier also makes it up as he goes
along, and of course it's false we all know there is talent on both side of
the equation.

no arms in GP3 bother you ?

by lo.. » Fri, 21 Jul 2000 04:00:00

Yesterday I played gp3 in Milan at gp3day organized by leader, the
italian distributor.
Well what can I say.. there won't be any delay since I saw the final
cd so.. be prepared to see it on the shelves on july 28th!!!
The machine specs were ..pentiumIII 600 128mb ram and an asus 3800
video card (tnt2) The game in 1024x768 with everything on had 21.3fps
and I really didn't expect such a good performance.
There were 30 pc with a microsoft force feedback wheel on each place.
I was really impressed by the wet race..really...I couldn't believe it.
Any question ? I'm here to answer them.

Have a nice day

Red

p.s. By the way ...it's f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c playing it and listening to
it!!!!!

That's related to an option I miss since Nascar1. While driving I need
a high fps count, so I reduce the image quality and drawn objects.
But during the replay lower fps are not a problem, so I have to increase
the parameters again.

Papy, let us save two (2) sets of parameters, one used for driving and one
used for replays.
