I use the new***pits and have no trouble with spygirl.  Are you loading up
the correct merged replay into GPL?

Interesting!

I got a similar problem, I have a replay saved in the GPL folder, but the new Spygirl can't see it.

Used the old version to be able to see it then merged it with another file.

However when viewing the replay in GPL the cars do not start together on the line one is at least 4 cars lengths ahead.

I have noted that one replay was done in 1.1 and the other in 1.0 versions of GPL...........So maybe they don't merge together so well, or the replay file is corrupt.

Interesting that the old version of Spygirl detected the replay and the new one didn't.

Anyway it's no big deal as I think Spygirl is one of the best tools for us GPL "slowpokes" to use.

Big thankyou to the guys who wrote it!!!

However I cannot see two cars, even when the program says that the merge has successfully been done.
I have installed patch 1.1003and different mipfiles so the cars have a 16 bit***pit, maye this may interfere?
  What do I do wrong?

Open spygirl,
Select Track,
Click the + on replay A in left window
Click the + on replay B in right window
Click the + on each player that was driving the replays in each window
then SELECT the TIME in replay A and B in their windows
then click MERGE
then open gpl and look for a replay named for example
A12956_B13179

this name consists of the driver name, his time, then the other driver name and his

hoe this helps
