Papyrus, past vs. present yellow realism

I remember the first Papyrus racing sim.  It was called Indianapolis 500 (or
something like that).  It was great for the time.  One thing it had that I
have not seen in any Papyrus sims since, was the wrecked cars during the
yellow flag being removed from the track.  They didn't show the cars being
removed but ...

If three cars wrecked, you would see them on the track as you drove around
under yellow.  This was cool because you could see who wrecked.  The next
lap maybe two cars would be gone with the third remaining.  Maybe next time
they were all gone and you'd know the green would come out soon.  There was
something there that made the time spent under yellow just a bit more
interesting.  I wish they'd have that simulated again.  Of course with
enough CPU power they could animate the cleanup ... but for now I'd be happy
with the cars being removed one or two at a time.

Heck, I'd be happy if the AI cars would line up, I would stop getting black
flags for passing under yellow entering the pits and pace car would stop
wrecking the entire field.  But this would be nice also.  -)

REAL Tow trucks and perhaps even a roll back for the damage I usually incur.
Now that would be cool.

Heh....I'm still waiting for it to have the caution come out when a 1-2 cars
spin (unless they fixed that in N4).

I can't believe that after 4+ versions of Nascar, they still haven't
gotten one of the
basic yellow tenants correct.  There should be a hot key that allows you,
when your
tires and junk & the leaders are about to lap you, to rip off a chunk of
foam *** from
the roll cage and toss it out the window.   Yes friends we NEED a debris
yellow...
