I liked it too (I saw it twice), but it wasn't what I was hoping for. It had
some great moments but a generally lame story.

I'll keep going to them as long as George makes them but I wish he would
spend less time on the "wow, cool effects" factor and more on the "wow,
great story" factor. And reduce the "cutesy kid" and "Jar Jar" factors to
zero. God I hated that little brat they picked to play Anakin!

> Hey, am I the only person in this galaxy who LIKED episode one????

No.  It's a good movie with some script problems.  George hadn't directed
for two decades, and it showed.  It wasn't  great like A New Hope, nor
excellent like The Empire Strikes Back.  It had it's moments, it had the
Star Wars background.  That's enough for me ;)

It's a prelude to the other 5 movies.  After knowing everything about AOTC,
I can see that it did it's role pretty well.

Hey I saw it 5 times in the theater, and much more on VHS and DVD ;-)

I would pay for 2 hour of about anything made by George Lucas, I guess ;-)

It was on purpose, I'm absolutely sure now.  Anakin still has his "brat"
attitude, but it's much more complex.  My main problem with TPM was in the
script.  Jar Jar and Anakin could had been much better giving the movie some
better scriptments in certain portions of the movies.  Oh the DROP THE
MIDICHOLORIANS (which don't appear in E2).

I liked everything but the Jar Jar dood, to me it was unrealistic or should I say unbelievable and that ruined it for me all though
I am a huge Star Wars fan :)
