I have the rendition version of icr2 and the game crashes while in
multiplayer mode. Is there a bug that causes this and if so, is there a
patch to fix it?

It's a bug, there is no patch, and it's likely there never will be. From
what I understand, the DMA mode in the Rendition card interferes with the
modem drivers. It's unfortunate, because I really enjoy head-to-head racing
in ICR2, but I just can't bring myself to go back to the SVGA version after
seeing the Rendition graphics.

no patch yet. The only time she really crashes is during a real big
wreck! I KNOW!
