Found it of all places at KMART. EB was too lazy to open their Infogames boxes sitting right at the counter.

Care to share a review?  Is it better optimized for Direct3D now or is
it still the same old glide engine?

Also, I didn't check to see what newsreader you use, but HTML encoding
sucks. =)

Graphics are better, but physics appear to be from DTR. Tearoffs, and puffs

His HTML looks fine here.

HTML has never bothered me, even when I was on dial-up.

But that 's me :)

Hey Mike, can you tell me if it now supports multiple controllers? TIA

I have a terrible memory. In fact my memory's so bad I can't remember how
long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

Doesn't appear to I had a joypad and my wheel hooked up and it only recognized the joypad.

HTML is annoying because this is usenet, not the world wide web.  An
RFC compliant newsreader posts and reads messages composed in ASCII,
not HTML.  Bill Gates for some reason decided that standards mean
nothing and HTML should be used for not only the world wide web, but
also for email, usenet, and the interface on your computer (don't get
the last one at all, considering how clunky web browsers are).

FWIW, I don't believe I've ever actually read an email message that
was encoded in HTML.  It's just way too much of a pain to parse a
message with a million tags in it when chances are it's not worth
reading anyway.  I should just add a rule in Pine to automagically
discard anything that contains "<html>" in it.

It's also 2002, not 1990 :)

Everyone has their own preference :)

You'd never survive in a corporate setting, then.  At least not the one's
I've worked at.

99.9% of the 2000-3000 work emails I get a month are HTML and include things
like formatted Word, Excel and other reports.

I wouldn't have it any other way, personally.

The only people I've ever received HTML-formatted mail from, in a
corporate setting, were human resources and upper/middle management.
I'm not commenting on how many of those I read. =)

HTML-formatted email/usenet posting isn't a technical innovation, it's
something that came about as a result of Microsoft's *** in the
home market and their failure to adhere to any standards (because if
they did, who would buy their over-priced buggy bloatware?).

Anyway, I don't care if it's 2050, email and news readers aren't web
browsers, unless you're unfortunate enough to use an Outlook product,
which also means you need to run antivirus software, etc.  I wonder if
Microsoft and Norton have some sort of side deal going.

And yes, I use Outlook 2002.

I like the way it formats reports and other things that I receive/transmit
dozens of times a day.

My Outlook PST has nearly 100,000 emails in it.

Outlook is a fine email program IF you secure it properly and your mail
gateways are properly protected.

I also find it's single-file method of storage extremely convenient.

With that said, our corporate standard is Netscape 4.8 which I personally
cannot stand.

Mozilla is also excellent.  In many ways, it's the most powerful email
client you can (not) buy.

Sounds like you just said you don't care to read anything from the people
who control your pay scale, future promotions, etc.
