I'm sitting here listening to the live net broadcast of the 24 Hours and just
wondering why we don't have a decent Sports Car sim. Think of the online
endurance races we could have!

www.broadcast.com/sports/autoracing/lemans98/

BTW, Martin Brundle currently leads in the Toyota.

Not really the type of thing that was initially mentioned, I think.
I know that I'd much prefer to see a sijm based on the Sports Prototypes
raced at Le Mans in the 60s/70s........not this type of thing.

Hey Don.
You need to check out "http://www.simproject.com". They have been working on
WSC/GTP add-ons for ICR2.
Go to their links page and click on "MIRacing", They have been having an online
24hr edurance race for the past two years

It is not online. However, it uses ICR2 with the Sports cars from TSP :)). It works by
drivers transfering racesaves via ICQ. It is truely one of the best events on the net for
sim racing. Check out http://www.miracing.com/endurance/index.htm   especially this years
winners :)))))))))))))))) Unfortunately, this years season has yet to begin for reasons so
far unknown. Keep a lookout for E24III though.

Yup...I knew it wasn't an on-line job, Byron.  Just my way of asking the

I'm with you, Bruce. I want to drive a GT-40 or a Cobra Coupe. A Mini
Cooper might be fun, too.  I also want a late 60's-early 70's CanAm sim,
so I can drive one of those beautiful Chaparrals.

How dare you talk about a Mini Cooper (sports car??!) in the same
paragraph as the beautiful GT-40, Cobra, & Can-Am Chaparrals!! :))

HEY!!!:))))Most of the guys bulding/driving those beauties had a Mini
somewhere for the fun of it. Even the late, great Enzo Ferrari had a
Mini Cooper S he used to thrash around the local back roads!

BTW, bring the sim around ASAP!!! Having seen most of those cars live
(Goodwood, 97), a sim would be great....
All best,
Matt
